Electric bikes from Spencer Ivy offer the ideal combination of cycling enjoyment and comfort.
As soon as you start pedalling an our electric bike, a powerful, yet quiet electric crank
motor helps propel you forward. This means you can also tackle journeys you would otherwise
prefer to make by car. Regardless of whether you are on a short trip, in town or on
a longer bike ride, getting around has never been as enjoyable as it is on a Spencer Ivy electric bike.
We are proud that our production is based in Germany. This stands for quality and German engineering.
All Spencer Ivy products and technologies are developed locally in Cloppenburg. In accordance with
specifications drawn up there and monitored by members of the workforce, selected partner companies
manufacture the tube frames which form the basis of our high-quality Spencer Ivy electric bicycles.
The development of our electric bicycles, and of individual technologies or specific components,
starts with an idea. To then implement the idea and test its suitability, Spencer Ivy works with
cutting-edge computer software for visualising and calculating complex models.
This is the only way of realising our ideas both imaginatively and effectively to create the perfect
electric bicycle for you. Planning on the computer produces a technical drawing from which we build
a prototype. We then test this in our the laboratory, making improvements where necessary. In this
way we can exploit the full potential of the electric bicycle.
Our manufacturer has one of the most advanced and largest test centres in Europe. Prototypes, individual components, modules and
all the models we create are thoroughly tested by their engineers.
Spencer Ivy does not only utilise the long experience and specialist knowledge of its workforce, but on state-of-the-art test
machines in particular. In addition to international standards (DIN EN and DIN plus), many parts have to meet their more stringent
in-house standards as well.
As soon as a prototype fulfils our high requirements, we have our partners manufacture the "tube frames".
These frames arrive untreated at our factory in Cloppenburg, where they are then assembled to form a complete bike.
