After a famous test ride in the Royal Borough by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales earlier in the year, the Kensington and Chelsea Today local paper followed up with a more thorough test ride on the streets of London.

We are always keen to see what serious cyclists think of our Spencer Ivy electric bikes, and are more than happy for them to give one a go.
Being big fans of Mr Rob Penn, a renowned journalist and author who has cycled around the world traveling through over forty countries on five continents, we couldn’t have been more excited when we found out he wanted to test ride our Spencer Ivy electric bike.

Having had the honour of being able to support the Prostate Cancer Trust earlier in the year by providing a fleet of electric bikes in their Tour of Britain Tour Ride, Mark, our designer has bravely donned a moustache for the charity’s Movember for his 6th year despite the fear of keeping his partner and baby daughter at bay. In their mission to encourage more people in this wonderful city to cycle, Transport for London have recently updated their incredibly helpful cycling website to include a section on Electric Bikes, with a little help from Spencer Ivy.

Many congratulations to Eoghan and Anne, from Norfolk for beating over 13,000 entrants to win The Observer Electric Bicycle competition earlier in the year.
After taking the bike for a quick spin, here Eoghan and Anne give us their reaction on winning a top-of-the-range electric bike from Spencer Ivy.
